Colon Rectal Cancer Illustrations – Polyp

These illustrations are by Medical Illustrator, Paul Pridgeon for Health Dialog.  They appear in videos, on webpages, and in print materials for programs on the treatment for Colon Rectal Cancer. There are two illustrations from the series shown here. Screening for cancer is important and one test is the fecal occult blood test, a lab test used to check stool samples for hidden (occult) blood. Colonoscopy can reveal polyps. Most polyps can be completely removed during the procedure.
