Forgotten Ellis Island Webpage Designs

The Pridgeon Design Group was hired to create a website design for Lorie Conway’s film Forgotten Ellis Island and her accompanying book. These web designs were created by the art director, Paul Pridgeon. Originally the website was designed as a historical site with a photo gallery, ancestor search, and a virtual tour of the Ellis Island hospital. This was in the days when Flash Sites were popular so there was a lot of creative freedom, as you can see in some of Paul’s designs. Eventually, the client scrapped the whole idea for a website that just sold the book.
